Dispatch Portal & LP-Connect Text Messages (10DLC) — Interpreters & Translators (Non-Marketing)
This page describes how Language People uses SMS/text messaging in the Dispatch Portal and LP-Connect to support interpreters and translators with operational, non-marketing communications.
Program purpose
Language People sends SMS messages to interpreters and translators for dispatching, assignment coordination, and account access for Dispatch Portal and LP-Connect. These texts are informational and operational only and are not marketing, promotional, or advertising messages.
Types of messages you may receive
- Job offers and availability requests
- Assignment confirmations, updates, and cancellations
- Schedule changes, start-time reminders, and time-sensitive dispatch notices
- Arrival / on-site instructions (check-in steps, location notes, point-of-contact updates)
- Account/security codes (one-time passcodes or verification messages to access Dispatch Portal or LP-Connect)
How you opt in
You opt in by providing your mobile number to Language People through the Dispatch Portal or LP-Connect and completing the form below, or an opt-in step presented in the application (for example, enabling SMS notifications for assignment updates or requesting a verification code by text).
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, or eligibility of assignments.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on job activity, assignment volume, and account access needs.

Help and opting out
For help, reply HELP to any Language People message.
To opt out of dispatch/operational text messages, reply STOP. You will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive texts from this program unless you opt in again.
If you opt out, you may miss time-sensitive job offers, assignment updates, schedule changes, or arrival instructions.
Security-code messages may be required to sign in to Dispatch Portal or LP-Connect; if you cannot receive SMS,
use any alternative verification method offered or contact Language People support.
Privacy
Language People uses your mobile number and message data to provide Dispatch Portal and LP-Connect operational communications for interpreters and translators. We may use service providers to help deliver SMS and support platform operations.
