Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Language People. By accessing and using this website or our Web Portal (LP Connect), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using LP Connect (“the Service”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials (information or software) on Dispatch Portal for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Dispatch Portal
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
  • Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any harmful or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Collect or harvest any information from the Service
  • Impersonate any person or entity

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dispatch Portal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6. User-Generated Content

Users may post, upload, or submit content to the Service. By doing so, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit
  • Your content does not violate any third-party rights
  • Your content does not contain any unlawful, harmful, or offensive material

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dispatch Portal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dispatch Portal, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms and Conditions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Organization], except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

17. Customer Support Information

if you have issues with your account, the services you receive, an appointment you booked, or other general inquiries, please contact our customer support staff.

Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday 7AM-7PM PST, however for emergency request we are available 24/7/365

18. SMS Campaign & Opt-out Instructions

Language People, Dispatch Portal, and LP Connect are all one. We have updated our software for use with text messages. You can now sign up for Text Messages communications for operational messages.

1. LP Connect may send OTP for MFA challenges to login to an online portal to make changes to a user profile for security purposes. It also serves operational messages for appointment reminders, and appointment booking, appointment confirmations, and account alerts.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at Proccessing@languagepeople.com or by calling 707-538-8900.

4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive multiple messages throughout most days. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
